The South Dakota firearm bill of sale is a legal document that works as a receipt between a purchaser and a seller of a gun. According to Article 6, Section 24 any resident may have the right to bear arms. Therefore, there is no registration or license needed to be obtained by the buyer prior to accepting possession.
After the bill of sale is signed and the exchange has been completed will the sale be considered final.
