North Dakota Motor Vehicle Bill of Sale | SFN 2888
The North Dakota standard motor vehicle bill of sale (Form SFN-2888) is used to create an agreement with another party on the buying and selling of any type of automobile to be registered in the State. The parties will need to fill-in the entire form including the seller signature which must be notarized in order to be processed.
- Damage Disclosure Statement (SFN-18609) – This form must be filled-in if the vehicle is less than nine (9) years of age.
- According to federal law all vehicles under ten (10) years of age and below 16,000 lb. must have an Odometer Disclosure Form attached.
- Vehicle Title Laws – Chapter 39-05 – Title Registration.
