How to Write the Bill of Sale

  • Date of Sale – Should also be the day the payment and vessel are traded
  • Buyer and Seller’s Information
  • Purchase Price and Payment Details
  • Vessel Information including the Hull Identification Number (HIN)
  • Condition/Repairs Needed (if any)
  • Additional Terms and Conditions (if any)
  • Signature Area
  • Notary Acknowledgment – Required
